Matière
Is Iran’s Fracture a Matière?
The Matière Unfolding on Iran’s Canvas
Is the fracture in Iran a matière? The world is being painted roughly now.
When thick layers of paint and material are placed upon a canvas, the surface becomes rough.
The traces of brushes and knives, poured into the work over long hours, rise like a landscape.
In painting, this technique is called matière (impasto)—a method of applying paint thickly to create texture and depth on the surface.
Just as rough layers of paint eventually form a landscape on the canvas,
human history has always been completed in much the same way.
Up close, it appears chaotic.
But when we step back, those rough layers support one another and finally become a single work of art.

“The Dignity of an Airport” — A Nation Is Completed on Its Surface
A nation reveals itself on the surface.
Not through declarations, not through ideology—but through what is quietly seen.
Airports are the first encounter. Before language, before explanation,
there is space, structure, and order. In Europe, even the smallest details speak.
Cobblestone streets, narrow paths shaped by time,
a rhythm where motorcycles feel more natural than cars.
Nothing is excessive.
Nothing is accidental.
Everything exists as a continuation of history.
But surface is not superficial.
It is the result of accumulation.
Time, discipline, and invisible choices layered upon one another.
A faucet, a public space, a passage between terminals— these are not just functions.
They are expressions.
And in that expression, a nation completes itself.
Because what is truly built is not infrastructure — but perception.
Yellow from the Start?
We’ve been taught
that this phrase means the end.
A life with no potential, a conclusion already written.
But… is it?
Why has yellow— the color of light— become a language of doubt?
Toward those who reveal their light first, there’s always ridicule,
resistance, and endless reinterpretation.
I walked across Europe for 29 days. In Rome— the Colosseum.
Thousands of years of time, holding the choices and traces of humanity.
History…
has never been silent.
And in Barcelona—Plaça de Sant Jaume. A place where power meets its people.
A language of the present, still unfolding.
Then, Antoni Gaudí. His architecture was not understood at first.
Too early.
Too different.
But in the end— he left behind light.
And in Rome, the MACRO Museum.
There, I met Stefano Scipioni.
Different languages, different timelines— yet we stood
before the same question:
“What… remains?” And in that moment,
I understood.
“Yellow from the start” was never the end.
It was the first signal of light.
Histories were different—but what flows between them is one.
A sensibility that never disappears, only changes form.
We call it—
Art.
A Sheet of Paper That Should Never Have Been Blank
A vast exhibition hall was filled with visitors.
People had come to see the paintings.
Some came to be inspired.
Some came in search of comfort.
Others came hoping to find answers to questions they had never been able to put into words.
Each person stood before the artworks for a different reason.
Some admired them.
Some searched for their meaning.
Some were drawn to the colors.
Others traced the silent marks left by the artist's hand.
Yet on this particular day, something felt strangely different.
The frames still hung on the walls.
But inside them, there was nothing.
No paintings.
No artwork.
No descriptions.
Only empty space.
Confused, the visitors began to ask,
"Where are the paintings?"
They are the people
who shape tomorrow.
I call them people with CQ.
내게 그것은 CQ(Creative Quotient)다.
Beyond IQ and EQ: The Third Intelligence
IQ is the ability to solve problems.
EQ is the ability to understand people.
But those who shape the future require another kind of intelligence.
To me, that is CQ — Creative Quotient.
It is the ability to imagine what does not yet exist, to instinctively prepare for a future that has not yet arrived, and to discover possibilities before fear takes hold in moments of uncertainty.
That is the essence of creative thinking.
That is what I believe defines a true creator.
A creator is not merely someone who invents something new.
It is someone who chooses a path no one else has chosen, acts on it with conviction, and ultimately creates a new reality.
I call such people individuals with CQ.

The NZ-Wave: Clear Waters to Wash Away the Chain Effects and Malicious Codes of Bad Media
Ash falling into a glass of water cannot simply be picked out—if you try, you throw away the water itself. Yet if fresh, clear water is poured into the glass, the answer reveals itself. Humanity, though faced with crises born of danger, has always overcome them. Now is the moment to turn this crisis into an opportunity.
With the intimacy of truth well defined, may clear and healthy media spread through the Newsy Zoom (NZ), flowing like pure water.

Baku is now hosting the ISSF World Shooting Championships!
The ISSF World Shooting Championships, held every four years (in between the Summer Olympics), is a truly smart competition built upon rules, order, and the spirit of sportsmanship, conducted in a well-structured and disciplined environment.
The 300-meter long-distance event was particularly captivating. The thrill of hitting a faraway target with a rifle created a spectacular scene. Hearing the resounding gunshots reminded me of how powerful and solemn such sounds can be.
Every event begins with a heartbeat. Within that pulse at the starting point lies deep earnestness.

The prison of the new normal is called COVID-19, while the ecosystem of coexistence carries the crime of “brainwashing” by the media. Its primary victims are the “weak” and the “students.”
The “new normal,” a term first used to describe the global economic landscape after the 2008 financial crisis, came to signify the “changes of a new era” during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
The weak and the students, having lost part of their experiences to COVID-19, now step into society with faltering, acrobatic feet. What, then, is happening to them?

Tetris, the legendary puzzle game
was created in 1984 in Russia (then the Soviet Union). The “Top 3” rumors surrounding Tetris were as follows:
-
“It was designed to addict American youth.”
-
“It was created to help dismantle the Soviet Union.”
-
“It was the Soviet Union’s latest and most successful weapon to addict American citizens to gaming.”
These false rumors, once revealed, sparked laughter as the truth came to light.

SBOM, unlike lip balm, is the essential shield for today’s digital ecosystem
Unlike lip balm, which only protects your lips, SBOM (Software Bill of Materials) is a security specification designed to safeguard software. Both the EU and the U.S., along with Europe’s digital market, are now requiring SBOM documentation for devices sold, strengthening cybersecurity across the board.
No more protecting only the lips with lip balm! What we need now is strong security policies for the computers and smart devices that have become extensions of our own bodies. In this new normal era, SBOM is not optional—it is an essential layer of defense to protect against the risks seeping into our daily lives, helping us establish a faster and more robust security framework.

It is now time for Newsy Zoom (NZ) to lead harmonious change
When it comes to youth and women, the focus should not be on dividing talents, but on providing fair distribution and opportunities for growth in their abilities. The media should actively and fairly support the next generation, presenting visions and innovations for Korea. Politics, in turn, must offer a sustainable blueprint for the future and foster voluntary social contributions.
It is now time for a new performance of Newsy Zoom (NZ), one that leads harmonious change.

Human rights are not an ornament.
They are not something to be forgotten,
but the inherent and inalienable rights that must always be upheld and protected.
